"We cannot speak about family without talking about the importance of the elderly among us" (Pope Francis).
After so many years of Consecrated Life, our elderly sisters have not lost the sense of amazement. Like the biblical Simeon and Anna, they are still able to bless God in spite of their frailty. They are still full of enthusiasm and are committed to the ministry of prayer. They pray for our congregation and for the needs of the world Through their prayers, they sustain our community and ministries in incredible ways. We love and cherish them because they are upholders of our legacy, and transmitters of our heritage, legacy and values.
They teach the younger generations how to embrace vulnerability and persevere in making life choices and long-term commitments. They are a blessing to our community.
